सोसेक नेपाल, नेपालको ग्रामीण समुदायमा बसोबास गर्ने पिछडिएका तथा पछाडि पारिएका जनताको सामाजिक आर्थिक तथा सांस्कृतिक अवस्थाको वृहत्तर सुधारका लागि मुनाफा रहित सेवा प्रदायक संस्थाको रूपमा २०५४ सालमा स्थापना भएको सामाजिक संस्था हो । संस्थाले कर्णाली प्रदेश लगायत सुदुर पश्चिम तथा लुम्बिनी प्रदेशका विभिन्न जिल्लाका ग्रामीण समुदायमा बसोबास गर्ने पिछडिएका समुदायको सामाजिक, आर्थिक र सांस्कृतिक स्थितिमा सुधारकाAssistant लागि विभिन्न निकायको सहकार्य र सहयोगमा विभिन्न परियोजना/कार्यक्रमहरू कार्यान्वयन गर्दै आएको छ । संस्थाले निम्नबमोजिमका विषयबस्तहरूलाई आधार मानी आफ्ना गतिविधिहरूलाई सञ्चालन गर्दै आएको छ : (क) असमानता विरुद्धको वकालत (सामाजिक न्यय), (ख) उत्थानशिल जिबिकोपार्जन, (ग) सुरक्षा र जिबन रक्षा, (घ) खानेपानी स्वास्थ्य तथा पोषण, (ङ) समावेशी र जीवन उपयोगी शिक्षा र (च) बाल समृद्धि का क्षेत्रमा काम गर्दै आएको छ ।  महिला तथा बालबालिकाको संरक्षण/सुरक्षा र भ्रष्टाचार बिरुद्ध शुन्य सहनशिलताको नीतिलाई अबलम्बन गर्दै आइरहेको छ ।

सोसेक नेपालले युरोपियन युनियन, संयुक्त राष्ट्रसंघीय जनसंख्या कोष (UNFPA) को सहयोग, स्थानीय सरकारसंगको समन्वयमा “सशक्त महिला, समृद्ध नेपाल” (Empowered Women, Prosperous Nepal) कार्यक्रम अन्तर्गत किशोर किशोरीहरुको लागि रुपान्तरण कक्षा संचालनार्थ साथी सहजकर्ताहरुलाई १६ दिने रुपान्तरण प्रशिक्षक पशिक्षण तालिमको दोस्रो फेज ८ दिने तालिममा सहजीकरणका लागि देहायको कार्य विवरण अनुसार प्रस्तावना आवेदनका साथ व्यक्तिगत विवरण (CV) सूचना प्रकाशित मितिले ५ दिन भित्र २०८२ साउन ९ गते (२६ जुलाई २०२५) भित्र पेश संस्थाको procurement@sosec.org.np मार्फत पेश गर्नुहुन अनुरोध गरिन्छ     ।

SOSEC Nepal was established in 1997 as a non-profit service provider for the greater improvement of the socio-economic and cultural conditions of the backward people living in the rural communities of Nepal. The organization has been implementing various projects/programs with the cooperation and support of various agencies to improve the social, economic, and cultural status of the backward communities living in the rural communities of Karnali State and various districts of the Far West and Lumbini provinces. The organization has been conducting its activities based on the following Thematic Areas: (a) Advocacy Against Inequality (Social Justice), (b) Resilient Livelihoods, (c) Safe and Save Life, (d) WASH and Nutrition, (e) Inclusive and Life skill Education, and (f) Children Prosperity. SOSEC Nepal has been adopting the policy of protection/security of women and children and zero tolerance against corruption.

SOSEC Nepal is seeking proposals from qualified and experienced individual consultants or consulting firms to conduct a Rupantaran ToT for Peer Educator.

  1. Purpose of the Training

This training is designed to prepare and equip peer facilitators for the Rupantaran sessions, with a focus on chapters related to adolescence, SRHR, GBV, and facilitation skills.

  1. Key Objectives
  • To the train peer facilitators on Rupantaran life-skills package.
  • The trained facilitators have the skills to plan and conduct sessions on each module of the Rupantaran Life-Skills with their adolescence group. They will also be able to prepare the report of the sessions.
  • The participants will have proper facilitation skills at the end of the training for delivering Rupantaran Sessions.
  1. Scope of Work

The training will cover the all rupantaran package of second part in the Karnali Province. It will involve a review of first phase, key informant interaction, power point presentation, group work, group discussions, panel discussion with diverse peer facilitators.

  1. Required Qualifications and Experience

We are looking for a consultant/firm with the following profile:

  • A Master’s degree in Gender Studies, Social Work, Development Studies, or a related social science field.
  • A minimum of 3 yearsof proven professional experience in conducting Rupantran training in Nepal.
  • Demonstrated expertise in gender friendly frameworks, methodologies, and an intersectional approach.
  • Strong understanding of the socio-cultural context of Nepal, particularly the Karnali province.
  • Proven experience with participatory, mixed-methods research and excellent analytical skills.
  • Exceptional report writing skills in English and fluency in Nepali.
  1. Application Procedure

Interested and eligible consultants or firms must submit a complete application package containing the following documents:

  1. Technical Proposal :Outlining the understanding of the ToR, detailed methodology, a clear work plan, and team composition.
  2. Financial Proposal:A detailed budget with a breakdown of all costs in Nepalese Rupees (NPR).
  3. Consultant/Firm Profile:Including updated CVs of all proposed team members and at least 5 samples of similar previous work.
  4. Legal Documents:A copy of firm registration, VAT/PAN registration, and the latest tax clearance certificate (for firms).

TOR of Rupantaran Trainer

  • Coordinate with SOSEC Nepal and UNFPA for the preparation of Rupantaran training on Adolescence, SRHR and GBV for Peer Facilitators in Karnali Province.
  • Collaborate with the trainer assigned by SOSEC Nepal to ensure smooth coordination and effective training delivery.
  • Develop the session plan, PowerPoint presentations, and training materials, and engaging and interactive training sessions using diverse methodologies (e.g., discussions, role-plays, group activities) in alignment with the Rupantaran Package and objectives.
  • Share prepared training materials with SOSEC Nepal and UNFPA for feedback, refine content accordingly, and finalize materials incorporating suggested improvements.
  • Deliver 8-day Training of Trainers (ToT) session for selected participants on Rupantaran as per schedule.
  • Assess participants’ knowledge through pre- and post-training tests and analyze learning improvements.
  • Assist training participants in developing actionable strategies to integrate Rupantaran into regular extracurricular activities and child club programs for sustained learning and engagement.
  • Prepare a comprehensive training report, including key insights, challenges, and recommendations, and submit it to SOSEC Nepal
