SOSEC Nepal was established in 1997 as a non-profit service provider for the greater improvement of the socio-economic and cultural conditions of the backward and backward people living in the rural communities of Nepal. The organization has been implementing various projects/programs with the cooperation and support of various agencies to improve the social, economic, and cultural status of the backward communities living in the rural communities of Karnali Province and various districts of the Far West and Lumbini provinces. The organization has been conducting its activities based on the following Thematic Areas: (a) Advocacy Against Inequality (Social Justice), (b) Resilient Livelihoods, (c) Safe and Save Life, (d) WASH and Nutrition, (e) Life skill & Inclusive Education, and (f) Children Prosperity. SOSEC Nepal has been adopting the policy of protection/security of women and children and zero tolerance against corruption.

As per the open advertisements published on SOSEC Nepal’s website and Jobs Nepal—from 2nd to 7th May 2025 for eleven positions, and from 5th to 10th May 2025 for the PC (WASH JR) position—candidates were evaluated based on their bio-data, written tests, and individual interviews.

The interviews were conducted on the following dates:

29 May 2025: PC (WASH JR) and MEAL, & DRC
30 May 2025: PC (Female Only)
01 June 2025: Behavior Change and Communication Officer (BCCO)
02 June 2025: MEAL Officer
