\nIntroduction of the Organization<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Social Service Centre
\n(SOSEC), Dailekh is one of the non-political and non-profitable
\nsocial organization which has been founded in 2054 B.S. with the
\ngoal of serving the backward people in the remote and undeveloped
\ncommunities of Dailekh district. The organization tries to play the
\nvital role in the social cultural and economic development of the
\ncommunity. SOSEC is the result of the ambition and enthusiasm some
\nadventures Dailekhi youths who are always dedicated in the
\nprosperity of community. By analyzing the fact that only
\ngovernmental offices can not do all the of developmental work, and
\nsome efforts should be done by the civil society for the development
\nof the community the organization has been performing different
\nactivities related to human right health, education, sanitation &
\nagriculture with the partnership of different bilateral,
\nMultilateral and other donor agencies that launch the program only
\nfor the disadvantage and back warded communities. SOSEC considers
\nthat the community should be active and cleaver for their
\ndevelopment. The development of a community depends on the
\nactiveness of the community.<\/span><\/p>\n

SOSEC has been
\nregistered in DAO Dailekh with the registration No-59-054\/055 on 11th<\/sup>
\nbhadra 2054 with in Organization Registration Act. 2035. Similarly
\nit has been affiliated in Social Welfare Council with the
\naffiliation No-6099-054\/055 and registered in NGO Federation with
\nReg. No<\/span> Dai-3-MDR- 054\/55<\/span><\/em>.
\nSOSEC has also been registered in PAN with No 300965292.<\/span><\/p>\n

                  SOSEC Dailekh Works
                  \nin the community by focusing on the interest and needs of the
                  \ncommunity by raising the social economic and cultural status of the
                  \ncommunity to fulfill its own goals and objective. SOSEC encourages
                  \nthe community to work for themselves to raise their status. SOSEC
                  \nencourages in participatory planning and prioritization as well as
                  \nfocuses on the prioritized implementation of the activities. The

                    Six sectors has been
                    \nmanaged based on the VMGO and the programs of SOSEC Dailekh each
                    \nsection has been <\/span>handled
                    \nby section chief and necessary other
                    \nposts have been managed under these sections. The section chiefs
                    \nhave been mobilized and guided by executive Director. All the staffs
                    \nare responsible to the ED and ED is responsible to Executive
                    \ncommittee. Executive Director prepares proposals, monthly ,
                    \nQuarterly, Semi-Annual and annual report of the organization and
                    \nsubmit to the related agency with the support of section chief
                    \nsimilarly ED handless the daily administrative work of the
                    \norganization. Some times consultants are also recruited and
                    \nmobilized the human resource are not sufficient for the program.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

                    \nOrganizational management<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

                    SOSEC Dailekh has
                    \nclear vision for organizational management. The roles and
                    \nresponsibility of each section has been clearly defined general
                    \nAssembly is the highest paint of the organization Executive
                    \nCommittee has been elected in each 2 years in the general Assembly.
                    \nThe executive committee leads and guides the organization regular
                    \nmonitoring and evaluation of the programs for the better
                    \nimplementation, guideline provide and decision making are the
                    \nactivities done by the executive committee. to lead the organization
                    \ntowards the good governance different sub-committee like, Management
                    \nSub-committee, Monitoring Sub- committee, Procurement Su-committee,
                    \nphysical assets supervision Sub-committee organizational development
                    \nsub-committee and recruitment sub-committee.<\/span><\/p>\n

                    \nFinance\/Account\/Audit<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

                    SOSEC, Dailekh
                    \ncollects resourced from membership fees late fee, ODF Provide by the
                    \nstaffs, and other service fee, as well as overhead & management
                    \nexpenses provided by the donor agencies. The collected fund is
                    \nmobilized for the Capacity development of the members and staffs of
                    \nthe organization. All the transaction is made by cheque from bank.
                    \nThe expenses bill voucher and receipt are submitted to the
                    \nsubjective sub-committee and endorsement to the executive committee.
                    \nThe executive committee checks whether the expenses are real or not
                    \nand approved. Account has been managed in the stander format of
                    \naccountancy of Nepal government. Different formats have been
                    \ndeveloped to manage the account properly. Internal audit has been
                    \nmade twice a year and external audit once year by CA or registered
                    \nauditor recruited by the general assembly of the organization. Audit
                    \nreport and annual progress report is submitted to concerning
                    \nsupport\/donor agency, social welfare council and other stakeholders.
                    \nNow spread sheet has been developed and used for the proper
                    \nmanagement of account report. Annually organization social audit
                    \nconduct. <\/span><\/p>\n
