\u00a0\u0964<\/p>\n<p>SOSEC Nepal was established in 1997 as a non-profit service provider for the greater improvement of the socio-economic and cultural conditions of the backward people living in the rural communities of Nepal. The organization has been implementing various projects\/programs with the cooperation and support of various agencies to improve the social, economic, and cultural status of the backward communities living in the rural communities of Karnali State and various districts of the Far West and Lumbini provinces. The organization has been conducting its activities based on the following Thematic Areas: (a) Advocacy Against Inequality, (b) Resilient Livelihoods, (c) Safe and Save Life, (d) WASH and Nutrition, (e) Inclusive and Informal Education, and (f) Children Prosperity. SOSEC Nepal has been adopting the policy of protection\/security of women and children and zero tolerance against corruption.<\/p>\n<p>SOSEC Nepal is seeking proposals from qualified and experienced individual consultants or consulting firms to conduct a comprehensive\u00a0<strong>Social, Gender, and Disability Audit<\/strong>\u00a0of its projects, programs, and organizational practices.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong> Purpose of the Audit<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>This audit is a strategic initiative to systematically assess the extent to which principles of Gender Equality, Social Inclusion (GESI), and Disability Inclusion are integrated and mainstreamed across our work. The findings will be crucial for enhancing accountability to the communities we serve, improving program effectiveness, and strengthening our organizational commitment to transformative change.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"3\">\n<li><strong> Key Objectives<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li>To review SOSEC\u2019s organizational policies, strategies, and internal systems from a social, gender, and disability inclusion perspective.<\/li>\n<li>To assess the integration of GESI and disability inclusion throughout the entire program cycle (design, implementation, and MEAL).<\/li>\n<li>To evaluate the effectiveness of MEAL systems in capturing disaggregated data and measuring changes related to inclusion.<\/li>\n<li>To identify good practices, challenges, and gaps, and provide clear, actionable recommendations for improvement.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol start=\"4\">\n<li><strong> Scope of Work<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>The audit will cover a representative sample of SOSEC&#8217;s projects in the Karnali Province implemented over the last three years. It will involve a desk review, key informant interviews, focus group discussions with diverse community members, and direct observation at both institutional and field levels.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"5\">\n<li><strong> Required Qualifications and Experience<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>We are looking for a consultant\/firm with the following profile:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A Master&#8217;s degree in Gender Studies, Social Work, Development Studies, or a related social science field.<\/li>\n<li>A minimum of\u00a0<strong>10 years<\/strong>\u00a0of proven professional experience in conducting GESI analysis, social audits, or gender-transformative evaluations for I\/NGOs in Nepal.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated expertise in disability inclusion frameworks, methodologies, and an intersectional approach.<\/li>\n<li>Strong understanding of the socio-cultural context of Nepal, particularly the Karnali region.<\/li>\n<li>Proven experience with participatory, mixed-methods research and excellent analytical skills.<\/li>\n<li>Exceptional report writing skills in English and fluency in Nepali.<\/li>\n<li>The proposed team should be gender-balanced and, ideally, include persons with direct experience in disability inclusion.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol start=\"6\">\n<li><strong> Application Procedure<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Interested and eligible consultants or firms must submit a complete application package containing the following documents:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Technical Proposal (Max 10 pages):<\/strong>\u00a0Outlining the understanding of the ToR, detailed methodology, a clear work plan, and team composition.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Financial Proposal:<\/strong>\u00a0A detailed budget with a breakdown of all costs in Nepalese Rupees (NPR).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Consultant\/Firm Profile:<\/strong>\u00a0Including updated CVs of all proposed team members and at least two samples of similar previous work.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Legal Documents:<\/strong>\u00a0A copy of firm registration, VAT\/PAN registration, and the latest tax clearance certificate (for firms).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>A detailed Terms of Reference (ToR) can be requested via email at\u00a0<strong>\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?sa=E&amp;q=mailto%3Aprocurement%40sosec.org.np\">procurement@sosec.org.np<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0or downloaded from our website\u00a0<strong>sosec.org.np<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Please submit your complete application package via email to\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?sa=E&amp;q=mailto%3Aprocurement%40sosec.org.np\">procurement@sosec.org.np<\/a><\/strong> with the subject line &#8220;<strong>EOI for Social, Gender, and Disability Audit<\/strong>&#8220;.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The deadline for submission is <\/strong>2 July 2025.<\/p>\n<p><em>SOSEC Nepal reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals without assigning any reason whatsoever.
