They are known for subsistence hunting of\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Langur\">languor<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Macaque\">macaque<\/a>\u00a0monkeys. They gather wild forest\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Tuber\">tubers<\/a>, fruits, and greens on a regular basis. To obtain grain, iron, cloth, and jewelry, they carve wooden bowls and boxes to trade for goods from local farmers. They do not sell other forest products,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Bushmeat\">bush meat<\/a>, or forest medicinal plants. Their population is estimated at about 650 people living in small settlements (Wikipedia, 12th\u00a0\u00a0 March, 2018).
