Dropout may be increased due to Conversion Disorder<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

School girls\u00a0\u00a0 get faint in their school in some schools of Dailekh. \u00a0This problem has been occurring since four years ago in schools of Gurans Rural Municipality of Dailekh district. The process is peculiar when one gets faint; other girls followed to her and get faints. Such \u00a0problems occurring in different schools of Gurans RM. Mostly, two schools namely, Nepal Rastriya Secodary School Bagaura Piladi and Jaya Janta Secondary School Jorebanjh of Gurash RM having problem of school quit by the girls. Similarly, this problem has been occurred in Saraswati Secondary khadkawada and Shanti Secondary School of Seri.\u00a0 According to the social worker and campaigner of children sector Mr Hirasingh Thapa, problem has been increased now a day by day. Six girls have been dropped their school during one month. Due to this problem, daily teaching learning activities also has been affected. Since four years this problem has been occurring frequently.<\/p>\n

According to psychosocial counselor Gita KC those girls who have been staying in their home also suffered in their schools and home also.\u00a0 \u00a0The symptoms of the girls are as follows: girls cried, got unconscious and fainted. At the mean time, they got information that girls are unconscious in schools; they got unconscious in their home. This problem has been occurred only in girls. Due to this problem, teachers and parents are in tension. This schools are only representatives because in the past, this problem has been faced by the others schools of Dailekh.<\/p>\n

Mai Temple is Established in school compound because the problem was occurred due to the divine power<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Due to this problem, Mai temple has been established in compound of Shanti secondary school Seri Dailekh. \u00a0According to the head teacher of the school, Bishnu Prasad Sharma said that they were advised to make temple by the witchcraft doctors; Dami Jhakri and traditional persons. When this problem occurs in schools all gathered and worship the temple. Even in teaching learning process, it has been taught that this problem occurred due to Deuti’s anger. Still this problem has not been stopped even established the temple.<\/p>\n

Again and again awareness building classes<\/span><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Due to this problem, there has been awareness building classes being provided. Social worker and counselor Parbati Bisunke provided awareness building class for couple of weeks just two years ago in support of SAHAYATRA project of SOSEC Nepal Dailekh and Save the Children. \u00a0Government office, NGOs and INGOs have been trying to\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0solve the problem for the target group however problem has not been solved.\u00a0 This problem might have connected with girl health problem. According to social worker Hirasingh Thapa \u201c It is not good practice that this problem is due to deities which is taught in school because this types of schooling may decrease the quality of education\u201d.<\/p>\n

Child Marriage May Increase<\/span><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

According to Social Mobilizor of Piladi VDC Chakra KC, there is misconception that this getting unconsciousness problem may be cured through the marriage of the girls.This types of traditional beliefs may increase the child marriage. He further Says \u201cDue to the lack of understanding of that problem may occurred some problems in future, they are ready to do child marriage which might be the reopening of child marriage problem which has stopped and decreasing since one year\u201d.<\/p>\n
