The organization tries to play the vital role in the social cultural and economic development of the community. SOSEC is the result of the ambition and enthusiasm some adventures Dailekhi youths who are always dedicated in the prosperity of community. By analyzing the fact that only governmental offices cannot do all the of developmental work, and some efforts should be done by the civil society for the development of the community the organization has been performing different activities related to human right health, education, sanitation &amp; agriculture with the partnership of different bilateral, Multilateral and other donor agencies that launch the program only for the disadvantage and back warded communities. SOSEC considers that the community should be active and cleaver for their development. The development of a community depends on the activeness of the community.<br \/>\nSOSEC has been registered in DAO Dailekh with the registration No-59-054\/055 on 11thBhadra2054 within Organization Registration Act. 2035. Similarly it has been affiliated in Social Welfare Council with the affiliation No-6099-054\/055 and registered in NGO Federation with Reg. No Dai-3-MDR- 054\/55. SOSEC has also been registered in PAN with No 300965292.<br \/>\nThematic Areas of Working<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<span style=\"color: #00ccff;\">SOSEC Nepal Dailekh has the following thematic area of working:<\/span><br \/>\n\uf076 Social mobilization for right<br \/>\n\uf076 Human Right Advocacy, Good governance<br \/>\n\uf076 Poverty Reduction through Livelihood Improvement<br \/>\n\uf076 Community Micro-infrastructure construction<br \/>\n\uf076 Income Generation Activities conduction in mobilization local fund<br \/>\n\uf076 Humanly &amp; Rapid Support to Conflict &amp; natural Disaster Affected Community<br \/>\n\uf076 HIV\/AIDS Issue<br \/>\n\uf076 Health &amp; Sanitation, safer motherhood, Nutrition, ARI, Diarrhea etc.<br \/>\n\uf076 Education &amp; Child, Youth &amp; Women Right<br \/>\n\uf076 Disaster Risk Reduction<br \/>\n\uf076 High Value Agriculture Commodities<br \/>\n\uf076 Climate Change Issue<br \/>\n\uf076 Child Protection, Child Right Governance<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<span style=\"color: #00ccff;\">Working in Disaster Risk Reduction:<\/span><br \/>\nStrengthening Community Action in Advancing Resilience Livelihood-Project<br \/>\nDPRP \u2013 1 (DPRP has been published with the technical support of SOSEC Nepal. In which major disaster categorized by VDC wise. Cluster and cluster head identified and prepared TOR. Action Plan executed on the basis of data collection of vulnerable VDCs.)<br \/>\nLDRMP \u2013 4 (Sattala, Singaudi, Rakamkarnali &amp; Pipalkot VDCs)<br \/>\n\u2022 LDRMP has been published with the technical and financial support from SOSEC Nepal under SARAL Project.<br \/>\n\u2022 Identified major disaster of the VDCs and categorized by ward wise.<br \/>\n\u2022 DRR related interventions had been incorporated with the VDC and line agencies.<br \/>\n\u2022 Task forces formed and mobilized for preparation and monthly or bimonthly meetings had been organized with the participation of CBDRMP, Clubs and Stakeholders.<br \/>\nCBDRMP \u2013 14 (Sattala-5, Singaudi-5, Rakam-3 &amp; Pipalkot-1)<br \/>\n\u2022 14 LDRMP has been published with the technical and financial support from SOSEC Nepal under SARAL project.<br \/>\n\u2022 Identified major disasters of the communities and categorized through prioritization from communities.<br \/>\n\u2022 DRR related interventions (landslide control, grass plantation, gully control, seedling plantation and gabion works) has been conducted with coordination and financing with District Soil Conservation Office, District Forest Office and VDCs.<br \/>\n\u2022 Task forces formed and mobilized for preparation and monthly or bimonthly meetings has been organized with the participation of VDC, LDRMP members, Clubs and Stakeholders.<br \/>\n\u2022 DRR &amp; CCA related booklet, posters published and disseminated among community.<br \/>\n\u2022 Established 14 Disaster mapping hoarding board at communities.<br \/>\nDRR Club \u2013 5 (Sattala-2, Singaudi-1, Rakamkarnali-1 &amp; Pipalkot-1)<br \/>\n\u2022 DRR Club member and task forces formed &amp; TOR prepared for DRR Club.<br \/>\n\u2022 Identified major disaster surrounding school area and categorized by prioritized.<br \/>\n\u2022 SDRMP Plan prepared and incorporated with SIP.<br \/>\n\u2022 DRR &amp; CCA related booklet, posters published and disseminated.<br \/>\n\u2022 Extra Curriculum Activities (Street Drama, Quiz contest, Speech, song and poet contest related DRR &amp; CCA) has been conducting Weekly\/Monthly at school level.<br \/>\n\u2022 Organizing regular Coaching classes for teachers and students.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<span style=\"color: #00ccff;\">Promotion of Right of Women, Youth and Child-Program<\/span><br \/>\nDisaster Risk Reduction day has been celebrated in 3 VDCs Bansi, Badakhola &amp; Bindhyabasini. Youth network has been organized orientation program in each VDC by the financial support and facilitation support of Program. Orientation has been facilitated by Program Coordinator and sub health post In-charge in Bindhyabasini, Bansi &amp; Badakhola VDC. 39 Women group, 33 Child Clubs &amp; 27 youth clubs members were participated in disaster risk reduction orientation. Cycle, stage of disaster before, during &amp; after stage, response and relief support process has been oriented to participants. 85 persons in Bansi, 85 persons in Badakhola &amp; 80 persons in Bindhyabasini altogether 250 persons were oriented.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<span style=\"color: #00ccff;\">Integrated Project:<\/span><br \/>\nBy the support of Integrated Project, 102 schools of working areas of project (9 VDCs and 1 Municipality) has been updated their School Improvement Plan included Child Centered Disaster Risk Reduction activities. CCDRR activities are going to implement in project areas with the facilitation and financial support of project.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #00ccff;\">Working in Climate Change:<\/span><br \/>\nStrengthening Community Action in Advancing Resilience Livelihood-Project:<br \/>\nFollowing climate change adaptation interventions are practiced and following by the communities of the project areas (Sattala, Singaudi, Rakamkarnali &amp; Pipalkot VDCs)<br \/>\n\u2022 Hail storm \u2013 Plastic House<br \/>\n\u2022 Landslide \u2013 Plantation, Bio-engineering<br \/>\n\u2022 Wind\/Storm \u2013 Deuti maize<br \/>\n\u2022 Drought \u2013 Mulching, Drip Irrigation, MUS<br \/>\n\u2022 Cholera \u2013 TEP, Toilet, ODF, Changs<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<span style=\"color: #00ccff;\">Socio-Economic Development Program\/ Rural Access Program 3<\/span><br \/>\nSOSEC Nepal Dailekh has been implementing Socio-Economic Development Program in Dailekh and working in 116 farmer groups for increasing\/improving product\/productive of agriculture commodities of ultra poor smallholder farmers. Program is supporting to improve access of smallholder farmers in market and scale up business motive skill of those farmers. Program has been done assessment of 116 groups on impact of climate change in production of agriculture commodities in selected areas than support and facilitate to farming existing climate resilience commodities. Program also support to farmers in construction of small plastic pond for irrigation facility. 28 small plastic ponds and 1 multi use water system has been constructed in working areas. Orientation, facilitation and preparation support has been providing to farmer group on made group wise Crop calendar for climate resilience farming. Technology of Polly house and Tunnel has been introducing in farmer group level and practicing to product commodities inside Polly house and Tunnel. 23 no of Farmer Business School had been conducted in selected farmer groups and support to reduce impact of climate change in product\/productive of agriculture commodities.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<span style=\"color: #00ccff;\">Water Resource Management Program_SOSEC:<\/span><br \/>\nSOSEC Nepal Dailekh has been implementing Water Resource Management Program in Dailekh and working in improving adaptation capacity of communities of Climate Change impact. Program is supporting to construction 10 big recharge ponds and 204 small recharge ponds, 108 retention ponds in 2015, plantation near around resource of water, solar lift water system. Blue School activities is also implementing in 3 schools of working areas. Program is supporting in construction of Rain Water Harvesting Tank in water scarcity communities.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<span style=\"color: #00ccff;\">High Value Agriculture Program:<\/span><br \/>\nSOSEC Nepal Dailekh has been implementing High Value Agriculture Program in Dailekh and Achham, working in increasing\/improving product\/productive of agriculture commodities of ultra poor smallholder farmers. Program is supporting to improve access of smallholder farmers in market and scale up business motive skill of those farmers. Program has been assessment impact of climate change in production of agriculture commodities in selected areas than support and facilitate to farming existing climate resilience commodities. Business Literacy Classes have been conducting selected farmer group\/cooperative(s) and support in reduce impact of climate change in product\/productive.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<span style=\"color: #00ccff;\">Spring Revival Project:<\/span><br \/>\nSOSEC Nepal Dailekh has been implementing Spring Revival Project (Pilot Project) in Dullu Municipality of Dailekh and working in increasing discharge of water in 21 springs. Discharge measurement of those springs in every 15 days and analyze of data.
